In the great land of Atlantis, Greek God Poseidon and human mortal Cleito gave birth to 5 sets of twins:

Every son had distinct and unique characteristics which differentiated him from his siblings. Each of them had different capabilities and excelled in different areas and aspects of life. Atlantis was hence divided into 10 plots of lands and each child of Poseidon was elected to govern and rule one plot of land.

The ten kings, each a ruler of his own province, were said to have assembled every fifth year and sixth year, administering public affairs and delivering judgement according to the law that Poseidon handed down to them, and according to records inscribed in a pillar of orichalcum.
Mestor and Elasippus, the twins known to be power-hungry and ruthless, plotted against their parents Poseidon and Cleito. And so, the pair killed them in an attempt to overthrow Atlantis. Alas, they were arrested and thrown to the dungeons for life.
